According to reports from the Daily Mail yesterday afternoon, Liverpool talisman Raheem Sterling is prepared to turn down a £180k per-week contract to force a move away from Anfield.
The England international still has two years left on his current deal, but if he’s not prepared to sign on the dotted line the Reds may as well sell this summer – ensuring maximum profit from the 20 year-old.
That, however, leaves Brendan Rodgers with the not-so-easy task of replacing an attacker boasting the most goals, assists, chances created and successful dribbles of any Liverpool player in the Premier League this season, whilst also offering a similar level of first team longevity to the Three Lions forward.
