You do have to worry for Manchester United at the moment:ander-herrera_2657922b

  • Fergie’s gone.
  • Moyes is having a nightmare.
  • Their form isn’t the best.
  • They’ve been struck with injury and retirement.
  • They won’t win the league and may not even earn Champions League football.
  • Their squad looks to be nothing special.
  • Their best player at the moment is an 18-year-old.

As you can see Manchester United have a lot of issues to deal with at the moment and one way they could deal with a few of these problems is to have a decent transfer window.

Having an 18-year-old carry you through games just worsens the state that United is currently in. Take nothing away from Januzaj and his remarkable ability, I just feel as though a top class side like United should be able to bring in WORLD CLASS players and should not have to rely on a player who’s barely turned into an adult.

The signing of Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrera would definitely be a step in the right direction.

His performances over the past year have been eye-catching and have attracted interest from the world’s top clubs. It’s been reported that Manchester United are the clear favourites to get his signature at 2/1, the next closest club is Chelsea at 25/1. Other clubs in the race for the midfielder include Tottenham, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

Moyes and United tried to buy the Spaniard in the summer, with the deal eventually falling through on the final day of the transfer window. Will they try to wrap up the deal this time round?

With Tom Cleverly’s dire form, I’d much prefer the Spaniard to play in an attacking midfield role, with Michael Carrick or Darren Fletcher in the holding role. His decisive passing and excellence vision would definitely be an improvement to the side and may even ignite the spark on their road to success (or at least Champions League football).

The 24 year old has only scored 1 goal and 1 assist in his 15 games for his club this season, which begs the question – will he able to bring the spark this club sorely needs?

His current contract contains a release form that is worth €36 million – some may argue that that’s too much, but United certainly need strengthening in the midfield. (Source: The Guardian)

Moyes spent big money on Fellani in the summer transfer window (£27.5 million) and that didn’t exactly turn out too well. Will Moyes take another big money risk in the form of Herrera?

What’s your thoughts? Do you think Moyes should sign Herrera and is €36 million too much?

Man utd should buy Herrera. Even if it is much money, it is expect from David Moyes and Man utd chief to take Punic buy. unless and otherwise it is intricate for man utd to get the chance to play Champions leageu next month. If this will occur in man utd, it is humiliation for the club. To over come this problem man utd should buy new players, Especially, around midfield area
