A few months ago some fans would have killed to have Eden Hazard at their club, but now I’m seeing many that don’t want him, changing their views on him entirely due to the comments he has come out with. The majority of big clubs in Europe have had Hazard licking his lips at the prospect of plying his trade in their colours, with the Belgian ace often commenting on how he ‘would love’ to go there and how it would be ‘a dream come true’. At first I thought it was perhaps a media spin on a little comment that had been blown out of proportion but with every new team, and with a new comment courtesy of the Lille playmaker, my doubts increased.

This week something happened that got many more people talking about him. Unfortunately it was not about his ability, or a blinding performance that he put in. Instead we were discussing a Nike Promo video, in which Eden Hazard looks at cards and states his opinions. The cards display different teams, although the camera never gets to see who is referring to with each comment. That doesn’t change anything though, it doesn’t matter what teams were on those cards, the fact of the matter is he is showing huge disrespect to Lille. The video itself is a couple of months old but it’s sudden rise has created a stir. There’s no denying Hazard is a cracking footballer, but the video is a PR disaster.

I’m not sure what his advisors were thinking letting him do that but I would have hoped that the young lad had enough sense to see what the correct decisions were. This video, and his comments to newspapers, are not correct decisions. The list of clubs Hazard is linked to is quite incredible: Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea and that’s just Premier League teams. I can’t think of a club that would turn him down based on his footballing ability, you’d be mad to say no. However, there is a cloud over his name. His antics leading to him being dubbed as ‘transfer whore’ amongst some of the footballing community.

I think the fame and stardom has got to his head. He’s become a kid in a sweet shop that can’t decide what he wants to do next, which one he should choose. Hazard should have just played his natural game until the end of the season and then started thinking about his future. He’s started too early, he should not be thinking about the next season, he should be focusing on the current task in hand for Lille. He’s only hurting himself. Many fans, myself included, believe it would only be a matter of time at his next club before he started flirting for his next transfer. He’s got himself into a dangerous cycle, for such a young player which such high potential it’s worrying. I would hate to see Hazard make a catastrophic career move, which is why he needs to think about his future quietly and not discuss it with the back pages of the world’s press.

I have to agree, Personally about a year ago i was wishing he would come to us. Now though i don’t want him anywhere near our team, Walcott has better stats than him and he is in the premier league but Fans don’t feel he is worth much and some fans boo him, he isn’t as tricky as Hazard etc but he scores more and creates more assists but yet a lot of fans feel Walcott is a waste of time. Yet this guy is likely to be sold for about 35m and is demanding (yes literally demanding as qoutes from sources dictate) a 70k paypacket MINIMUM!!

I think this guy is a toxic and will only use a club as a stepping stone for Barca or Real, he looks like a merc for sure and i would hate him to come to Arsenal because if he has 1 big season he will be demanding pay level with RVP or will fluttering his eyelids towards Spain……..he has gone way down in my respect. For all the talent this guy posseses he looks to have a crap and nasty attitude. He can’t even get in the belgium side regularly for all his talent that should tell people something about his other traits, he is a sulker if he doesnt get what he wants and will drag the team down.
