Newcastle fans have taken to Twitter to share their criticisms over owner Mike Ashley after comments made on current manager Steve Bruce.
This comes after Newcastle news Twitter account @ChronicleNUFC shared a post on their official page that contained an article from their website that included Ashley’s comments on the current state of the club and its prospect for the future.
Despite Ashley’s comments being positive, some Newcastle fans still took this as an opportunity to criticise the current owner.
Here’s a sample of Newcastle fans not happy with Ashley:
Apart from a regular income, Ashley is probably a reluctant seller because a new owner might find a can of worms – a bit like Rangers possibly

What does Mike Ashley make of Newcastle takeover prospects?A dogs breakfast.

Probably because Bruce’s main ambition is to stay in the job rather than challenge the owner to improve the club

It is also reported in the article that Ashley will make funds available to Bruce to use to spend in January for potential incoming transfers. But, some fans still criticise Ashley and want to see him out of the club.
Get out of our Club

Because he scraped the barrel of hasbeen managers and he is getting results because of the way the players were drilled under rafa

Even if we was 17th he would still be happy

What do we think?
It’s no real news to anyone that Newcastle fans don’t like Ashley, but this latest wave of criticism, even when he’s praising the manager and the team, just goes to show how unforgiving these Newcastle fans are towards him.
