Presenter ExWHUemployee has told West Ham United fans to keep an eye out on possible transfers for Maxwel Cornet and Dwight McNeil.
Last season, the Burnley duo were relegated from the Premier League and so they could well be on the move this summer. West Ham have already been linked with the likes of Emmanuel Dennis and Ismaila Sarr from Watford – who also went down – so it would make sense for them to explore others in a similar position too.
On top of that, Ex has stated that the pair are both Will Salthouse clients. This could lead to a possible deal for either player as David Sullivan has a good relationship with the agent which has bore fruit for all parties in the past.
Speaking recently on The West Ham Way podcast, the presenter outlined how it could potentially all play out due to this obvious links.
He said (12:02): “They’ve [Burnley] got a couple of players that play for them. Dwight McNeil who’s done really well, and Maxwel Cornet who has done really, really well.
“The common thing that both of those two have is that they are also Will Salthouse players. So it’ll be interested to see, and I know we’ve had an interest in those players before.
“So I’d be interested to see, again domino effect, wherever we ended up going for a couple of those players, or one of those players potentially. So again, keep your eye on those.
“No closeness now, there’s other targets being pursued ahead of these ones, but just saying it’s something to pay attention to.”
