A tweet sent out by COYIrons asked fans if they’re in favour of ousting Manuel Pellegrini out, and if so, who they would want to replace him.
The post had a mixed reaction, with some fans tired of the Chilean’s approach and others wanting to give the Premier League winner more time.
Some big names have been thrown around when coming up with the 66-year-old’s successor, former Bayern Munich manager Niko Kovac and Eddie Howe are just two of the managers suggested.
Seen a few rumours linking Kovac or Rafa Benitez to West Ham… Are you #PellegriniOut already?

Yes. It’s either arrogance or stupidity that is affecting his decisions, but he has got it so badly wrong recently. Signings have been poor overall and he can’t motivate the players. I was firmly in MP’s camp, but I can’t think of one reason to stick by him.

Yes the guy has shown over the last 49 games + cups that even with all the funds he hasn’t come close to repaying the 7m a year he is earning.

No, the guy is a proven manager who is in the process of building the squad he wants but it needs more spending behind it. Has been picking some questionable teams lately but we don’t know his thinking on things. I think back him for the next 2 windows at least.

If kovac is in yes

I’d take Benitez, he’s a great coach.

Pellegrini hasn’t won a manager of the month award since August 2015, however, the 66-year-old has a brilliant goal ratio of 322 goals scored and 188 goals against, although the Hammers have been struggling to bundle the ball home this season with just 14 in their first 11 top-flight fixtures.
Eddie Howe

He’s beat bottom of the league and second bottom of the league….and man United . The guy isn’t taking us anywhere.

After buying in some quality players and we are still going backwards, no gameplan and quite clearly not able to motivate a squad anymore, I have to say that I want him to go !!!

I am not. Pelle will get us back out of the mess….

I think we should always have gone for Benitez

Wouldn’t necessarily say Pellegrini out just yet. I think he needs to come to terms with the fact that his current formation isn’t cutting it and that some players aren’t up to scratch. He absolutely has to change something for Burnley. Potential for massive backlash otherwise.

Bit early for that kind of talk. It’s only been a very short run of admittedly very terrible form, although wins against Watford, Norwich and Man Utd appeared to have been papering over cracks. Hoping we take the hint and sign a DM and a RB in January.

Kovac is so good for club

This is stupid, we have lost a key player, Fabia?ski. We got a very average back up keeper, to help reduce the wage bill.
When Fabia?ski comes back and we are playing rubus after 4 weeks, THEN we can talk about sacking Pellegrini.

What Do We Think?
It’s still pretty early in the season to be sacking managers, however, West Ham haven’t won in their last five league games, which isn’t a good look for the former Manchester City manager.
You can’t always guarantee that bringing in a new manager will result in more points, but from the fans point of view, they can’t be doing much worse than this. Should West Ham look to go down the route of replacing the South American, Howe would probably be the safest option, with the Englishman already knowing what it’s like to manage in the Premier League. Kovac might be a stretch too far, with him leaving a Champions League contender in Bayern Munich not too long ago.
