Spurs fans were treated to some images of Tanguy Ndombele in training from the club this week, with many commenting on the Frenchman’s lack of fitness.
Spurs tweeted out a couple of images of the midfielder saying “Tanguy Tuesdays” but many fans took the opportunity to complain about how tired he looked. The 23-year-old hasn’t featured for Jose Mourinho’s side since picking up an injury in the 1-0 loss at Southampton on New Year’s Day but looks to be working hard to get back to full fitness.
Spurs signed the French international from Lyon in the summer for a club-record fee but the transfer has not really gone to plan so far, with Ndombele having started just 10 times in the Premier League so far this season. The midfielder’s fitness has proved to be an issue since signing with Mourinho openly criticising the 23-year-old after he made himself unavailable for the game against Brighton on Boxing Day.
What are your thoughts on Ndombele?
Great player

These Spurs fans clearly didn’t enjoy the images of Ndombele and will be hoping that he is working hard to improve his fitness.
What do we think?
Ndombele was back on the bench for Spurs’ game against Southampton in the FA Cup so perhaps he will make an appearance against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side on Sunday. However, the £58.5 million rated man seriously needs to cut out his fitness issues if he wants to establish himself in the Premier League.
