A whole host of Sheffield United fans on Twitter are furious to see Daniel Jebbison linked with a move away from the club.

The 19-year old striker is currently out on loan at Burton Albion where he has scored one goal in nine League One games after seemingly not being up to the standard required to feature regularly under Slavisa Jokanovic, although that looks like a strange decision now as they’ve only scored 22 goals in the Championship.

Should Jebbison leave Sheffield United?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

Jebbison broke onto the scene last season in the Premier League when he netted on his first start against Everton, but despite experiencing this season on loan at Burton, that has not stopped Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund from reportedly holding an interest in the striker, according to TEAMtalk.

A lot of Blades fans are livid on Twitter to see their young striker being linked with a move away.

What have these Sheffield United fans been saying?

“If that’s the case recall him and start him.”

@IvantonyB

“Swap deal for haaland plus cash and we’ll talk”

@sufcdan12

“Another one we’ll sell without ever actually getting any good minutes out of”

@TipsterJeff02

“30 million if they want him”

@platts_craig

“Barcelona & Borrussia Dortmund fancy him but we obviously don’t, you figure it out”

@sufc1971

“That’s him gone before he even reaches our first 11 then, similar story to DCL”

@mcchickenberge

“£60m + Haaland or they can look somewhere else”

@1889Dylan

“Go jebbison son can’t stand in his way”

@Joelbirmz12

What appears to be frustrating these Sheffield United fans is that history could be repeating itself when they let current England international Dominic Calvert-Lewin leave for next to nothing back in 2016, as the Blades don’t appear to be willing to hand him a chance, especially when players like Oliver McBurnie, Oliver Burke and David McGoldrick are not doing the business at Bramall Lane at present.

An easy one to kick off our quiz on the 2020 summer transfer window in the EFL, which player left Birmingham City to join Borussia Dortmund?

Following the Blades’ relegation back into the Championship, Everton tested their resolve with a reported £5 million bid for the striker which was swiftly rejected, and that may prove to be the right decision if Dortmund and Barcelona are now looking at him as it could create a bidding war if the striker was to leave.
