These Newcastle United fans were left unimpressed by the comments made by Valentino Lazaro’s agent.
When Lazaro’s agent spoke to FC Inter News, he stated that the player’s first choice would be returning back to Inter and going on to state that his client has a very good relationship with the head coach back in Italy.
Lazaro only recently joined the Magpies on loan from Inter, so it must have been a big shock to these fans when they saw the agent’s comments.
Here are some of the comments from the Newcastle fans on Twitter:
Valentino Lazaro hopes to return to Inter Milan at the end of his loan spell with #NUFC despite the Magpies' option to buy.
That's according to the player's agent Max Hegmayr, who has confirmed the 23-year-old's first choice would be to return to Serie A. https://t.co/na8Z5gR54U

If he does not want to stay with us then him and his agent can remain in Italy! It’s obvious Inter don’t want him

Were you disappointed with these comments?
Yes, why is he here then?

No, it's just his agent talking!

Lazaro, who is valued at £17.1 million (as per Transfermarkt), played six matches of Inter this season, managing to get just one assist in the league for the Italian giants (Transfermarkt).
So what’s the point of him being here then?!! We’re only going to enhance his inter career!!… pointless…

This is the type of deals Rafa shielded us from… another sissoko type player, daft like cos inter have made it clear they don’t want him, hasn’t even kicked a ball for us and he’s crying to be away good way to get the fans on side… mbappe is better anyway!

Send him back now if that’s the case, we don’t want or need players with that type of attitude at our club hes toxic #getbacktomilan @valentinolazaro #getoutofnufc #badattitude

Why sign if you don’t want to be here!
Not the best way to start your Nufc career— snefaru (@ulrik_g) January 27, 2020
What Do We Think?
This isn’t a great look for Lazaro, but it’s important to remember that these are his agent’s words, not the player’s. It’ll be interesting to see what sort of reception the 23-year-old will receive on his debut, but our guess would be that it’s probably just business as usual.
