A lot of Newcastle United fans have not reacted well to the latest transfer update from Germany as RB Leipzig’s director Oliver Mitzlaff has confirmed that Ademola Lookman is not available for loan as the club believe in his quality (He told Sky Germany).
This is a huge blow to the Toon, who were hoping to sign the former Everton man on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Should Newcastle move on from Lookman?
Yes, no time to wait

No, they can still get him

However, this latest update has not surprised many Toon fans who weren’t expecting to sign Lookman.

What do we think?
Last week it emerged that Lookman fancied the move to Tyneside, and one report even claimed he was pencilled in for a medical.
However, this week the deal has gone quiet, and these comments from Mitzlaff suggest that unless the Toon offer a permanent transfer fee, Lookman will not be leaving Germany for Tyneside.
The 22-year-old has only made three league appearances since he joined Leipzig permanently and was said to be desperate to leave.
The Toon have also looked at Ricardo Horta from Braga, and they might move on to him now after Leipzig dealt them this blow.
