A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to an image showing Valentino Lazaro’s agent meeting with Red Bull Leipzig to discuss a transfer for his client.
Lazaro’s agent spent Saturday on Tyneside talking with Newcastle, and he watched the Toon beat Chelsea 1-0.
Would you be annoyed if Newcastle don't sign Lazaro?
Yes, as he could add something to the team

No, not a position Newcastle need to strengthen

However, he then claimed that nothing was agreed between Lazaro and NUFC even though Inter Milan and the Magpies have reached an agreement for a season-long loan deal with an obligation to buy.
This latest image, though, appears to have not bothered these Newcastle fans.
Sounds like Lazaro listening to what @DieRotenBullen have to say at least… https://t.co/7llC26LCDw

Can’t wait for the meltdown when he chooses the Bundesliga leaders over us , will somehow be Bruce’s fault

The kid is Yedlin with a stepover. Not bothered in the slightest if he goes elsewhere.

I think his agent has played the game well here. Used #NUFC to get the interest out there.

Dun care much if he decide to go there so be it. Hopefully we don’t go for him again if he fail there

Seems this one has slipped away a bit, hopefully agent has described atmosphere after that goal and not the style of play ?

What do we think?
Lazaro is a versatile player, but he is mainly comfortable on the right either on the wing or as a wing-back.
The Toon already have three players who can play right-wing-back, so do they need another one?
Steve Bruce seemed keen on the 23-year-old but was annoyed that the deal leaked out over the weekend, and this image proves that Lazaro is keeping his options open.
The Austrian international moved from Hertha Berlin last summer to Inter Milan – so he knows what is required to play in the Bundesliga.
Will he choose to go back to a league that he does know, or will he take on the top-flight?
