A lot of Newcastle United fans have reacted to Nabil Bentaleb’s first tweet since he made his move to Tyneside.
The tweet was captioned with “back to the roots” and showed a video of the Algerian international walking with Henri Saivet and then passing the ball with some of his teammates.
Should Newcastle start Bentaleb?
Yes, nice game to start him in

No, save him for Norwich

The former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, who is valued at £4.5m by Transfermarkt, has joined Steve Bruce’s side on a loan till the end of the season with an option to buy and these Toon fans are excited to see the new man.

What do we think?
Bentaleb made 97 appearances for FC Schalke and scored 19 goals and also provided nine assists he has a great engine on him and loves the physical side of the game.
Defensively he averaged 1.3 tackles and 1.4 interceptions per game last season.
The 25-year-old is available for the Toon’s FA Cup match with Oxford United, and he should provide Bruce with some competition in the central midfield area.
Newcastle’s signing of Bentaleb was a surprising one, but he could prove to be a clever addition.
