A lot of Newcastle United fans have reacted to Mike Ashley making his first appearance of the season at St James’ Park.
The Toon owner watched his side beat Rochdale 4-1 thanks to goals from Matty Longstaff, Miguel Almiron, Joelinton and an own goal from Eoghan O’Connell.
Will Bruce get what he wants from Ashley?
Yes

No

Ashley is going to meet Steve Bruce to discuss transfers and decided to watch the match and saw his record signing score.
However, these Toon fans were furious at the sighting of Ashley.

No one is booing him. He probably so glad that fans continue to accepting Cashley United Ltd.

Why’s he sat amongst us? Why is he been given an easy ride? #AshleyOut

Makes me feel sick, seeing him happily sitting there .

Other Newcastle supporters are adamant that Ashley will not spend any money in this transfer window.
He’s see us win comfortably, not realise this isn’t the premier league and suggest everything is fine.

We don’t need to spend this window. We can rip Rochdale apart so why bring in players? That’s what he’s thinking isn’t it ?

What do we think?
Bruce is set to ask Ashley for one big-money transfer to ensure that the Toon are not relegated; however, this result could convince the Toon owner that his team will be fine!
The truth is that Newcastle beat a League One side and progressed to the next round of the FA Cup, which is good, but they need some reinforcements, and many Toon fans just have to hope Bruce can convince Ashley to give him the money he needs to get some signings.
