These Liverpool fans were slating Fabinho after the Reds dropped a 2-0 lead against Shrewsbury to draw 2-2.
After 46 minutes, Liverpool looked like they were comfortably going to stroll past Shrewsbury and progress into the next round of the FA Cup, however, Jason Cummings’ double caused a major upset and allowed the League One side to snatch a 2-2 draw against the Premier League giants (WhoScored).
The 26-year-old finished the match with an underwhelming WhoScored rating of 6.1/10.

Awful…so far off the pace…week too early for return even if it was Shrews

Worse then Arsenal away last season and that’s coming from someone that rates him highly

Shrewsbury deserved that. Lovren, Matip and Fabinho were a complete disgrace tonight. Fitness is one thing but they badly let the young players down out there #LFC

Should Fabinho play in the FA Cup replay?
Yes

No

Despite some fans stating Fabinho, who is valued at £63 million (as per Transfermarkt), was rusty against Shrewsbury, the Brazilian still managed to complete 88% of his passes against the League One side.
Slow and off pace. To be expected.

What Do We Think?
Even world-class players are prone to an off-day every once in a while, so maybe the Liverpool fans are correct in simply stating Fabinho’s performance as rusty, instead of perhaps questioning the level of football the 26-year-old is capable of.
