These Liverpool fans are getting excited after journalist David Maddock teases them with a Kai Havertz tweet.
Journalist David Maddock didn’t even say a word in his tweet, but simply used an eyeball emoji when retweeting a Kai Havertz related post (@MaddockMirror).
So far this season, Havertz has scored four goals and assisted his teammates twice in 16 Bundesliga appearances (Transfermarkt).
Interestingly, Liverpool have been linked with a move for Kai Havertz already this month, but nothing appears to be coming of it.
Here are some of the comments from the Liverpool fans on Twitter:

It’s very clear to see that these Liverpool fans can hardly believe what they’ve seen, but someone should tell them that David Maddock actually didn’t say anything in his tweet.
Don’t do this to me

Is Kai Havertz joining Liverpool?
Yes

No

What Do We Think?
This tweet really doesn’t mean much, as an emoji is hardly the greatest source of information. However, maybe Maddock is just simply setting these Liverpool fans up for a big surprise move, or he’s just enjoying teasing them.
Nevertheless, it’s clear to see that Havertz is a player that many Reds fans want to see at Anfield.
