Leeds fans seem reasonably relieved that their club won’t be pursuing a summer move for Wolves winger Adama Traore.
That latest update comes from Football Insider, who say a source at the club has told them that there is nothing in the speculation.
Traore’s end-product has regressed this season, with no goal involvements on the board after 27 rounds of Premier League fixtures.
But he is a player with explosive ability. He completes more dribbles per game – 4.2 – than anybody else in the division, and it’s not even close. Allan-Saint Maximin is in second place, but he averages a full 1.1 fewer (via WhoScored).

Leeds already have a spectacular wide player in the form of Raphinia, but the Brazilian has been so impressive this season that he’s been linked with a move to one of the Premier League’s so-called ‘big six’ (via Daily Mail).
Traore could feasibly have been a shortlisted replacement, but it seems Leeds will look elsewhere if Raphinia does indeed move on.
