COMMENTARY
Even when Leeds United are not in action the Elland Road faithful are keeping a close eye on developments and Monday saw the chance to watch one of their future talents in action, with Will Huffer making his debut for Barnet against Brentford in their FA Cup clash. The goalkeeper, who also made his first appearance for the Whites after Bailey Peacock-Farrell and Jamal Blackman both picked up injuries earlier this season, was thrown straight into the deep end for the non-league side and seemed to pick up mixed reviews from those watching on. Some suggested that he was not quick enough to get down to prevent Brentford’s long-ranger opener while others were left impressed with his communication with his defence. Perhaps the most telling tweet out there was the one where the fan had not realised Huffer had even left Elland Road. The focus is definitely on incomings, not outgoings, this month, but there were still a fair few keeping an eye on the youngster’s performance.
This is Futbol has gathered a selection of the supporters’ tweets:
Brentford may have scored 3 goals (should never have been a penalty) but Huffer has made some awesome saves in this game ?

Good luck to Will Huffer tonight in the FA Cup. It’s important Leeds get a decent set of keepers in our set up as well as exciting ball players. BPF has been excellent for us. It’s not easy being a young keeper at a big club. Hopefully he will learn watching Kiko
