Some Celtic fans have been unhappy with the performance of Mikey Johnston in the Hoops’ recent Premiership game against St. Johnstone.
Neil Lennon’s men picked up another win in the Premiership, keeping their lead at the top of the table to five points. Olivier Ntcham scored, while Leigh Griffiths and James Forrest also got a goal each for themselves.
Should Johnston be loaned out?
He has to be loaned out

No, develop him at Celtic

But young Johnston came on in the second half for the Hoops. And many Celtic fans aren’t happy with how he did. They made their opinions known when a fan called ‘Kieran Caw’ posted about it.
Simply not good enough for Celtic imo.

So far this season, Johnston has made 21 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops. He has picked up a tally of six goals and just as many assists. In the Premiership, the 20-year-old has played 11 games and has scored twice, assisting four times as well.
His goal contributions have improved from last season when the Scot came up with one assist and five goals in all competitions for the Hoops. He made only 23 appearances during that time, with 12 of them coming in the Premiership.
He is currently a Scotland Under-21s international, having made 11 appearances for the side. He has one goal to his name.
What do we think?
Johnston is 20 and for a player who is still getting in the habit of playing in the first-team football, he needs time to adjust to that transition. Celtic fans need to be patient.
