Lots of Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to wax lyrical over attacking ace Allan Saint-Maximin’s sensational solo strike during their 3-1 victory against Burnley in the Premier League last season.

The Frenchman has been a revelation on Tyneside since he made the big-money switch from Nice in 2019, scoring nine goals and grabbing 14 assists in 66 appearances for the Magpies.

It’s an excellent record, especially considering the number of injuries the Frenchman has sustained has picked up during his time at the Magpies and he now seems to have shaken off those issues this season.

Furthermore, footage has now emerged of Saint-Maximin bamboozling the the Burnley defence before sneaking a low shot past Nick Pope against Burnley last October, with the Magpies eventually defeating Sean Dyche’s 3-1 at St. James Park in the league last season.
