Where’s RVP off to next and can Arsenal cope with his absence?

|

Mourino’s Madrid, a club who, despite not announcing their interest, may well consider Van Persie as an appropriate addition to add to their frontline which already consists of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gonzalo Higuian. A move to Real Madrid seems very unlikely but certainly not one to rule out.

Robin Van Persie is currently the longest serving foreign player in the Premiership and a move that would continue this record is shifting up the country to Manchester, where Roberto Mancini would welcome the 28-year-old. Despite Mancini, publicly stating that a move for the Arsenal front man is unlikely, it is not impossible. A potential move could be sanctioned should the rumoured departures of Edin Dzeko, Emmanuel Adebayor and Carlos Tevez come to fruition. Gossip would continue to link the Premier League champions and the Gunners skipper as it is seen that the Etihad side are the only English side that could afford the price tag as well as the astronomical wages that would come with the striker, who bagged 30 goals the last campaign and dragged his side into a Champions League berth.

Of course, one possibility hasn’t been mentioned. The hope from Arsenal fans that their leader will stay at the Emirates. Stalling on a rumoured three-year deal worth £130,000-per-week – plus a £5million bonus does not look a good omen for Gunners fans although, new additions such as free-scoring Podolski and Giroud may convince Van Persie that his future lies in London and that the club are heading in a very positive direction. Stories of a possible move for Fiorentina attacker Stevan Jovetic have emerged recently in media so supporters will hope that the age old cliché of ‘every cloud has a silver lining’ may prove to true should Van Persie move on. Another season in England could prove to be the correct choice for Robin Van Persie. Arsenal look like they could be a force to be reckoned with and with some more shrewd arrivals, they could maybe, just maybe push for the top spot in the Premier League. The decision at this moment is not really for Van Persie to make – do Arsenal want to cash in on their prized asset or risk losing him for nothing next year should he not sign a new contract? If, Van Persie does move on, will he regret his decision come next May?

The question will drag on; perhaps until the dying minutes of the window as clubs rush to complete their signings. Where will Robin Van Persie play his football next season?

If the new players Wenger has signed and can help Arsenal challenge for epl,RVP will be forgottten.Howeve if Arsenal go into a slump,Wenger’s head will be sought. To avoid this the fm needs to change some of his philosophy.
    If not,it will be downhill.
