Are new signings now an imperative for Liverpool?

|

To move forward, Liverpool will need to sufficiently spend their money on players who can aid them in achieving a top four place.
Kenny Dalglish has, and it’s fair to say, spent a lot of money in recent transfer windows on players who have frustratingly seemed unable to grasp previous form that led to them being brought to Merseyside.

With a grand total of over £70m, Andy Carroll, Stewart Downing and Jordan Henderson have left most Liverpool fans on the fence, making up their minds weather the trio are the saviours who will propel them up the Premier League in the near future to once again mix with Europe’s elite.

Many fans are optimistic; there is no doubt that these players are talented, however it is simply looking like time is the key to development; they lack the ability and experience to begin or renovate their Liverpool careers with a bang like the £24m Luis Suarez or Craig Bellamy (who, ironically cost them nothing) have done.

Therefore, if Liverpool wish to gain success next as immediately ad next season, should they stick or twist? It seems that more players who will make a sudden impact at the club are needed in the short term, but who should that be?

The Reds have recently been linked with players like Lille’s Eden Hazard, Athletic Bilbao’s Javi Martinez and Seydou Kieta of Barcelona. If rumours prove true, these are ambitious targets for Liverpool (who would undeniably bring flare, creativity and experience to the squad), suggesting they are moving in the correct direction which can only ever be forward for a club with such history to it’s name and such expectation on it’s shoulders. They would also be exactly the type of immediate players needed to add that extra spark that will kick Liverpool into life, home and away.

However, it’s easy to predict what will actually make the pivotal difference for Liverpool, as many have done and will do. Frustrated as fans may be after dropped points, the Merseysiders are not far from finding the key that should take them back to become European contenders once again.

If Carroll is regarded a 35 million flop,Suarez is also a 24 million flop.10 goals in 40 appearances, diving all the time, getting angry with teammates for making a wrong pass, damaging the club with the Evra and Fulham situations, being regarded as top class yet wastes a lot of chances.either change attitude and start scoring goals, otherwise get the f*ck away from Liverpool Football Club. You’ve already made a lot of damage to the club’s status Luis.YNWA

Until someone brings results to Liverpool, then,he would be worshipped by the fans, owners and everyone at the football club.Work is all about bringing results and LFC is no different.Sometimes the club puts more emphasis on rubbish while other clubs like Barca only worry about results and their players like Messi too.I see no problem with Suarez having problem with teammates who make wrong passes but if he can hunger more for goals,be a Lionel Messi or a Xavi or Xabi kind that only worries about playing better and productive football, then,he would fit in well at LFC.Even though I still doubt that he is his own class, only if LFC can find ball passers and classy wingers I think Luis would get serious!!!!
