If we then look at some of arsenals rivals you will notice that they all have top quality strikers on the field and on the bench man united have Rooney, Hernandez ,Welbeck and the forgotten man berbatov Chelsea have Drogba, Anelka and Fernando Torres. finally even their closest rivals spurs have Adebayor , Defoe and Pavlyuchenko now none of these strikers may be in the same league as van persie however compared to Chamak and park they look much better equipped for the premiership and its clear to see that other title contenders have better strength in depth up front and the gunners don’t.

Henry’s been training with arsenal and Arsene has been left in no doubt that Henry could still score goals for the club and with Arsene Wenger not ruling out his return yet never say never. weather henry returns or Brek Shea signs its clear arsenal need to do something to the strike force now or leave the memories of previous great strikers behind.
