Why failure is not an option for Leicester City or Sven:

|

Last season, though, he had the poor start to blame, the players were not all his choice etc etc. Well this year there is no hiding place for the Swede.

This is his team. He has gone out and spent the money on top class players. We were even outbidding teams from the Premiership & the Scottish Championship for player’s signatures – and winning.

So if Sven cannot produce the goods this season then I believe it could be the end. Of course he will get another job somewhere. There will be another club, like a Leicester City, that will roll out the red carpet for him on his past reputation. He can of course always turn to the media if no coaching offers come in.

But surely he won’t fail? Will he?  This is after all only The Championship. We are the richest club in it. He has spent more money this close season than half the Premiership clubs.  He simply has to succeed not only for the Club but for him.

But if he fails like I said, if nothing else he’s rich enough to sunbath his retirement away, but what of the club? How long will The Thai’s stick with us before they get bored without success. How much money will they continue to throw at the club? If Sven fails who would they get to follow him. He was out of work. Not many managers of his calibre are.

What happens if The Thai’s pull out? It doesn’t bare thinking about!

This season it has to work both for Sven and the club.

Failure is not an option.
