Spurs fans were delighted to hear some of Jose Mourinho’s comments in a press conference on Tuesday, with many now feeling as if the Portuguese boss is set for a great spell with the North London club.
When Mourinho was asked about his thought on managing the football club as we approach nearly a month in charge, he replied: “I am so happy with my job I don’t look for the next job. I will leave Tottenham Hotspur when Mr Daniel Levy and the supporters want me to leave. I do not want to leave at all.” (via LastWordonSpurs)
The former Manchester United and Chelsea boss was appointed by Daniel Levy in November following the shock sacking of Mauricio Pochettino and has gone on to win four of his first five games in charge. Positive results have seen Spurs secure qualification through to the knockout stages of the Champions League and left the North London club just six points off fourth-placed Chelsea.

Who’s asking him these sorts of questions just a month in to the job in first place?

He hasn’t even finished hanging pictures of himself on his office wall yet, why would he even be thinking about leaving?

Spurs fans were clearly delighted to see Mourino reaffirm his commitment to the club, although many were confused as to why he was asked about leaving in the first place.
What do we think?
Mourinho has made a great start to his Spurs career and looks a completely different personality to the one we saw all too often at Manchester United and Chelsea. In less than a month he has already helped Spurs produce some scintillating attacking football and given the right signings, they could be a genuine threat in the title race next season.
