Alvaro Morata

Alvaro Morata may not be a great goal scorer but he does boast a useful knack of scoring very important goals, evident enough as he fired Juventus to last season’s Champions League final with five strikes in Europe’s top tournament.

Mobile, tall and just 23 years of age, the former Real Madrid starlet is laden with world-class potential and when in top form, can be impossible to contain for the best defences in world football – as he proved against Bayern Munich last week.

But his Juve career could come to an end this summer. Paulo Dybala remains Massimo Allegri’s favoured strike asset and Morata has made no secret of his interest in sealing a summer transfer to the Premier League.

Arsenal and Liverpool have both been linked but Real Madrid are likely to exercise a £24million buyback option, before controversially offloading the Spain international at a substantial markup.
