Manchester United have made no secret of the fact ostracised goalkeeper Victor Valdes is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford, transfer listing him last summer after allegedly refusing to play for the Red Devils’ U21 string.
The real issue, however, is whether United can find a club who’ll take the 34-year-old – who is reportedly taking home a whopping £150k per week – off their hands.
A move to Besiktas fell through last summer whilst little has come of Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Newcastle United’s reported interest. Even La Liga sides linked with the Barcelona No.1 have dismissed rumours of an impending bid.
