Karim Bellarabi

If there’s one kind of player Liverpool’s squad currently lacks, it’s an explosive, pacey and natural wide man – perhaps with the exception of inexperienced youngster Jordon Ibe.

One Bundesliga-based solution comes in the form of Bayer Leverkusen’s Karim Bellarabi, who not only bagged an impressive twelve goals and six assists in 33 league outings last season but also recorded the most successful dribbles per-match, 4.7, of any player in the German top flight.

He’s failed to have the same impact this season, netting just one in nine, but that’s partly due to Leverkusen’s struggles as a whole, with the Bay Arena outfit currently in seventh place.

In terms of speed and power, the 6 foot winger seems well equipped for the demands of Premier League football. Furthermore, his contract allegedly includes a release clause of just £11million.
