Angelo Ogbonna

Occasional Azzurri centre-back Angelo Ogbonna comes highly-rated in Italy, in no small part due to his spate of impressive campaigns for former club Torino, spanning both Serie B and the top flight.

He’s a particularly physical defender, blessed with a powerful 6 foot 3 frame and an imperious leap, but Ogbonna’s greatest asset remains a sharp turn of pace and renowned recovery speed.

The 27 year-old has spent the last two seasons at Juventus, helping them clinch consecutive Serie A titles and reach the 2015 Champions League final.

But predominantly a bit-part player, managing just 18 league starts last season, he’s widely expected to leave the Turin outfit this summer.

Aston Villa, Everton, Southampton, Tottenham and the Reds have already been linked, with the tabloids valuing the 10-cap international at around £6million.
