Kieran Trippier

Turf Moor to Old Trafford is an almighty step up but Burnley hot-shot Kieran Trippier looked more than comfortable at top flight level during his debut Premier League campaign.

Indeed, the 24 year-old bagged four assists in 38 league outings whilst averaging 1.7 created chances and 2.4 accurate crosses per match – making him by far and away the most potent creative threat in the Burnley squad.

His cross completion was the best return of any Premier League player this term, and builds upon an impressive haul of 14 Championship assists during the 2013/14 campaign.

Admittedly, Trippier still represents an almighty punt and the Red Devils faithful might not take too kindly to a Manchester City academy product.

But he’d suit Louis van Gaal’s possession-based mantra and Burnley’s plummet back into the second tier could force them to sell this summer. The tabloids have rated the former England U21 at just £3.5million.
