Paul Pogba

Nobody in the world of football would be more outraged by Juventus star Paul Pogba returning to Manchester United this summer than the Red Devils legend himself, Sir Alex Ferguson.

The former gaffer branded the France international ‘disrespectful’ when he swapped Old Trafford for the Old Lady in summer 2012 by way of a free transfer, but Pogba has since emerged as one of the most complete and sough after centre mids in world football, claiming the 2013 Golden Boy award for his eclectic mix of imperious athleticism, technical trickery and netting prowess.

Despite the 22 year-old’s transcendence towards the world class bracket, he didn’t get a single mention in Ferguson’s latest autobiography – which is over 400 pages long.

That, combined with an apparent price-tag of £70million, makes Pogba a truly outrageous acquisition.

Outrage factor: 7/10
