Raheem Sterling

Where better to start than the European Golden boy of 2014 – Liverpool’s prodigious forward Raheem Sterling.

The 20 year-old has struggled for output of late as he finds himself on the right-hand side of the attack, but the sheer fact he’s been used in a plethora of diverse capacities by Brendan Rodgers this season – ranging from wing-back to centre-forward – whilst claiming the most goals, six, assists, seven, chances created per match, 2.2, and successful dribbles per match, three, of any Reds player tells all about his superfluous talent.

A nomadic attacker seemingly adaptable to any role, what impresses me most about the England international is his willingness to improve all aspects of his game for the sake of the team. That, combined with Sterling’s obvious quality, forms a future world-beater in the making.

Continually turning down contract offers at Anfield, the most recent reaching over £100k per-week, Manchester City must test Liverpool’s resolve this summer with a bid around the £30million mark.
