Alexandre Lacazette

Boasting 23 strikes and five assists in 26 league appearances, Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette finds his goal return trumped by only Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo throughout Europe’s five leading top flights this season.

The France international’s stock has been gradually rising for some time but he appears to be amid a real coming of age campaign, allegedly triggering transfer attention from Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City.

In addition to firepower, the 23 year-old offers defence-splitting pace and positional flexibility, having originally served Les Gones as a wideman until his superfluous run in front of goal this season.

The Express rate him at a more than reasonable £15million, and although further goalscoring exploits could see that figure soar, it’s unlikely to venture anywhere close to Dybala’s rumoured asking price.
