Tottenham Hotspur could look to reignite their interest in Nicolo Zaniolo this summer amid previous links to the player.
The north London club were linked with a move for the Italian during the previous January transfer window but were unable to secure a loan deal for him.
Instead, the 23-year-old found himself joining Galatasaray on a permanent deal, but has still yet to make an appearance for the Turkish side.
Despite only recently starting a new chapter in his career, the attacking midfielder has once again been linked with a move to England.
According to a recent report from Calciomercato (via Sport Witness), Spurs could look to once again make a move to sign Zaniolo in the summer.
The report also adds that this potential move could be made easier for the Lilywhites this time around, as the player has a €35m (£31m) release clause in his current contract with Galatasaray.
Prior to joining his current side, Zaniolo made 17 appearances for Roma across all competitions, scoring two goals and delivering three assists in the process.
Despite being previously tipped to become an “extraordinary” player by Roberto Mancini, the 23-year-old was anything but that earlier this season.

His overall performances earned him a season rating of 6.21/10 from WhoScored, making him one of the lowest-rated players at the club.
This makes it easy to see why Jose Mourinho’s side were keen to get rid of him in the middle of the season.
