Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing La Liga duo Frenkie de Jong and Eduardo Camavinga during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Since Erik ten Hag took control of the Red Devils, the Dutchman has brought in a handful of new players to refresh and strengthen United’s midfield such as Christian Eriksen, Casemiro and Marcel Sabitzer.

Now that the next summer transfer window is approaching, the Old Trafford outfit have set their sights on two midfielders to come in and strengthen the squad even more.

In this quiz, we will take a look at who topped the club's scoring charts and when. First, who was United's top scorer this season?

According to a recent report from Football Insider, United are keen on launching another transfer move for De Jong after being heavily linked with him last summer.

Added onto that, Barcelona are apparently willing to sell the midfielder this summer for £70m to help their financial issues.

The report also adds that United have expressed an interest in signing Camavinga, who they have had their eyes on since before he joined Real Madrid.

Unfortunately for United, the European champions apparently have no intention of selling the Frenchman, as they see him as a long-term figure for the club.

With De Jong, this current La Liga campaign has seen the Dutchman rack up the third-highest total of passes into the final third of the pitch (138) in the league.

In fact, his overall performances have earned the 25-year-old a season rating of 7.09/10 from WhoScored, making him the fourth-highest rated player currently at Barcelona.

Who would you rather see Man United sign this summer?

Then with Camavinga, he has shown how impressive he is in a different way to the Barcelona figure, by winning more tackles (27) than any other player in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.

Taking all of this into account, it’s easy to see why United have the duo, who have a combined current weekly wage of £779k-per-week, on their transfer target list for the upcoming summer window.

Moving forward, if De Jong is the easier option for the Red Devils to land a summer transfer deal for, they should focus all their energy on him rather than potentially wasting it trying to get Real to sell Camavinga.
