Arsenal are reportedly looking to get rid of three senior players during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The north London club have splashed a significant amount of money to sign new players across their previous few transfer windows, bringing in players such as Leandro Trossard, Jorginho, Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko among others.
With so many new players coming in, it has been revealed that the next transfer period could now see some big names make moves out of the Emirates this time around.
According to a recent report from Football Insider, the Gunners are willing to listen to offers for Kieran Tierney, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Nuno Tavares this summer to try and balance the books following their previous spending while trying to raise funds for potential new incoming transfers.
Tavares was sent out on loan to Marseille during the previous summer window and has since gone on to make 29 appearances for the French club across all competitions prior to today’s league match against Rennes, scoring six goals in the process.
Then in recent January window, Lokonga also left Arsenal on a loan deal, similarly to Tavares, but to a club much closer to the Emirates, as he joined Patrick Vieira’s Crystal Palace on a temporary basis until the end of the season.

This shows that the duo were low enough down Mikel Arteta’s pecking order that they were allowed to leave on loan, which makes it understandable why the club could be looking to move them out permanently in the summer.
Finally, in terms of Tierney, he has found his place in the starting XI, particularly in Premier League games, taken by Zinchenko, leaving the Scotsman, who has recently been linked with a move to Newcastle United, with just four league starts to his name this season.
Looking ahead to the summer window, bearing in mind how Arsenal have one of the smallest squads in the Premier League, if they do end up getting rid of some first team players, they will need to make sure they don’t head into next season with a depleted squad, meaning that potential incoming transfers could be crucial depending on who they manage to get rid of.
