Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been backed by pundit Frank McAvennie to leave the club this summer.

The previous summer transfer window saw a significant number of players make moves in and out of Old Trafford as Erik ten Hag took charge of the Red Devils.

Now that another summer window is approaching, one pundit has claimed that there will be more transfer activity going on at United, with one current player tipped to be facing the exit door.

In this quiz, we will take a look at who topped the club's scoring charts and when. First, who was United's top scorer this season?

Speaking to Football Insider, McAvennie had this to say when asked if he thinks Wan-Bissaka could be moved out of Old Trafford this summer.

He said: “I think so. I think the fans are not happy with him. He has not set the heather alight, he comes in and has been lethargic.

“I think he can do better than what he has been doing. Whether that is something to do with the manager not believing in him I do not know.

“There is going to be movement. There are a few of them that are going to move on and it is time for a change. Ten Hag has got them all interested in Man United again.”

Since joining United from Crystal Palace back in 2019 in a deal worth a reported fee of £50m, the defender has made 144 appearances for the Old Trafford outfit across all competitions, chipping in with two goals and 11 assists.

Should Man United sell Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer?

Under Ten Hag, the 25-year-old has seven of the 10 Premier League games he has appeared in, completing a full 90 minutes on five occasions.

His performances in the league have earned him a season rating of 6.83/10 from WhoScored, making him the joint-ninth highest rated player in Ten Hag’s squad alongside Lisandro Martinez.

Having found himself being linked with a move away from United during the previous January transfer window, the former Palace figure has remained at the club and will stay with them until the end of the season, by which time he’ll have entered the final year of his contract.

With that in mind, it seems as though the Dutchman will have a decision on his hands in the summer as to whether he wants to keep hold of Wan-Bissaka or let him leave.
