Tottenham Hotspur are preparing a second bid for Brighton & Hove Albion’s Leandro Trossard, according to a new report.
Tottenham are said to be keen to land Trossard this month, and they could have a good opportunity to do so, given that the player’s relationship with Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi is strained, after a recent development.
The Belgian wants to leave his current club due to a falling out with the manager, who recently decided to leave him out of the squad for the Liverpool match, as a result of his poor attitude in training. (via Sky Sports)

The former Genk man is said to be ‘very keen’ on joining a Champions League club, and he is excited by the interest from Tottenham, but it is detailed that Brighton intend to rebuff any offers, as they have no intention of letting him leave this month.

The 24-time Belgium international has displayed his versatility, featuring on the left, in the centre of midfield and in more advanced forward areas this season, so he would be a fantastic replacement for the outgoing Lucas Moura, who is confirmed to be leaving the club at the end of the season.
At 28, Trossard is only a couple of years younger than the Brazilian, so he will not be a long-term solution for Antonio Conte, but there is every indication that he is just coming into his prime, and he would be a real boost for Spurs in their push for a top-four finish.
