Journalist, Ryan Taylor has described a move for Aaron Wan-Bissaka to West Ham United as ‘highly probable’.
Speaking to GiveMeSport, Taylor said that the Hammers have an ‘appreciation’ for the full-back after attempting to get him in on loan last summer.
Transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano stated last month that Man United would look to sell Wan-Bissaka before looking to purchase another right-back.
Wan-Bissaka signed for current club, Manchester United back in 2019 from Crystal Palace for a fee of £45 million. His game-time in the Premier League has diminished as each season has gone by. He’s made only one appearance in the league for the Red Devils in the 2022/23 campaign.
Taylor stated:
“Yes I would, I think that’s a very realistic transfer and that is highly probable [Irons making a move to sign him].
“I think with Wan-Bissaka, it’s clear that he’s he’s appreciated by West Ham because they tried to get him on loan in August, so I think that’s one that has legs to it and there could be movement.“

We believe that a move to West Ham would be a great opportunity for Wan-Bissaka to kickstart his career again.
Despite being out of favour at Man United, he could definitely do a job for a number of other Premier League clubs. He can offer a strong defensive solidity in the right-back position.
When compared to other full-backs from Europe’s top five leagues, the Champions League and Europa League, he ranks as one of the best from a defensive perspective. The 25-year-old is in the top 1% for interceptions and the top 3% for tackles made (FBref).
The Hammers do boast a strong defensive record, despite being a relegation battle. They’ve only conceded 17 goals, the joint-fourth best in the Premier League.
However, bringing in another solid defensive option would still be an asset to the club. West Ham are only one point above the relegation zone, so they’ll want to strengthen and bring in all the quality they can in January, so the Hammers can climb further away from the drop.
