ExWHUemployee has claimed that West Ham United may still look to do some loans in January – though transfers will be unlikely.

At the moment, life isn’t exactly great for the club. Indeed, they currently sit just one point above the bottom three having tasted defeat in the first game back in the Premier League.

Thanfully, however, following that 3-1 away loss to Arsenal, the winter transfer market is just a matter of days away from opening. And so, West Ham can look to bulk up their squad in the second half of the season.

While it feels as though the club could certainly do with a few fresh faces, Ex has claimed that it’s more likely that loan players will come in as opposed to any transfers.

Speaking on The West Ham Way podcast, he said: “[David] Moyes has been very quick to say we won’t bring anyone in. I think we will maybe look at loans still.

“I don’t think to rule out anyone coming is completely accurate. I would say it’s unlikely that we will get people in at this point. But there are going to still be some talks to get a few loan players in because we obviously need to freshen things up a bit.”
