Tottenham Hotspur have the chance to sign Weston McKennie amid Juventus’ financial issues, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke.
Spurs have been alerted to the ongoing financial situation at Juventus, which has seen president Andrea Agnelli and their entire board of directors resign.
This comes after allegations of false accounting and a subsequent UEFA investigation being launched against the Italian club.
The circumstances mean potential repercussions for the Old Lady’s transfer plans in the upcoming January window, with O’Rourke telling This is Futbol that Spurs may be able to pounce for the 24-year-old.
He said: “Considering everything that’s going on at Juventus as well at the minute with their financial problems, that might open the door for a potential move to become more of a reality for Tottenham and Weston McKennie.”

Spurs do have a number of options at central midfield, but with Antonio Conte deploying three central midfielders rather than the two favoured earlier in the season, the chance to improve that area should be jumped at.
