Journalist Pete O’Rourke has claimed that a move to Tottenham Hotspur would be an ‘attractive proposition’ for touted transfer target Mohammed Kudus.

While Ghana failed to make it beyond the group stages at the 2022 World Cup, that didn’t prevent the Ajax star from truly announcing himself on the global stage.

Indeed, Kudus really caught the eye with some impressive displays and ended the tournament having scored two goals in three games. Naturally, transfer rumours have followed him of late. As per, Calciomercato, Tottenham have been following the player and even and sent scouts to watch him in Qatar.

Amid these links, O’Rourke told GIVEMESPORT, the journalist said: “His performances at the World Cup mean it’s going to be an intense competition for his services involving all the top clubs across Europe.

“But I think Tottenham, with the stadium, with the manager and Champions League football on offer, it’s an attractive proposition for all the top players out there.”

TIF thoughts on Mohammed Kudus and Spurs…

Interestingly, the attacker has really stepped things up in the current campaign, with 12 goals in all contributions. As well as this, he now finds himself on 36 goals at domestic level in his career in just 131 games from more of a midfield position.

Spurs are currently fourth in the Premier League and so have a good shot at being able to offer Champions League football next term. While they are also still in that competition this season and face AC Milan in the first knockout round.

With that in mind, Kudus may well view them as an attractive option for the next step in his career. However, he is likely to have a number of suitors.

Indeed, beyond a move to England, the player is also said to be a target for La Liga giants Barcelona. With that in mind, if Tottenham do want to land him, they made need to provide their best sales pitch.
