The Magpies have certainly switched up the way they do transfer business since PIF came into the club as they have not been afraid to sign both experienced and young players to help build for the present, but also the future.

Newcastle have added players such as Alex Murphy and Garang Kuol to their ranks of late which shows a clear plan to ensure the Magpies have some of the best young talents within the squad and Kennedy believes this could happen again in January.

Kennedy has claimed on the NUFC Matters YouTube channel that people have spoken about attracting more young talents to the club next month.

(24:15) “Like I say, I think January, and it’s been talked about by quite a lot of journalists about the January window I don’t imagine it’s going to be the type of window that we have seen in the last two.

“It’s more probably going to be about tweaks, adjustments, improvements and very much in the manner we’re seeing at the moment, your Garang Kuol type of signings, players that improve not only the fringes of the first team but also the infrastructure below.”
