Journalist Charles Watts praised World Cup star Mohammed Kudus as some recent transfer links suggest Arsenal may want the player.

Indeed, according to a recent report in 90min by journalist Graeme Bailey, a number of Premier League clubs are keen on landing the Ghana ace.

Arsenal are among those said to be keen on the 22-year-old, who has impressed with his nation in Qatar, scoring two goals as Ghana beat South Korea.

While talking about the player on his YouTube channel, Watts was full or praise for the Ajax man, admitting he had been ‘impressed’ whenever watching him play.

Indeed, he said: “He looks a player, Kudus. Really impressed me when I’ve seen him for Ajax this season and he’s taken that form into the World Cup as well.

“Interesting to see what happens to him. Very, very close to moving to Everton in the summer – they tried to force through that move but Ajax were having none of it.

“And you can understand why now because his value is probably doubled almost because of the World Cup he’s had.”

TIF Thoughts on Mohammed Kudus and Arsenal…

As Watts alludes to, Everton certainly were keen on trying to sign the Ajax star in the summer, and according to Fabrizio Romano, it sounds as if the Toffees could go in for him again.

And why not? After all, on top of his fine World Cup displays, he has ten goals and two assists in 21 games across all competitions over in the Netherlands.

Taking everything into account, it does sound as though Arsenal will face stiff competition if they are serious about signing Kudus, but he looks like he could be a player worth chasing this winter.
