Former Real Madrid and Birmingham City player Moha Ramos has revealed he spoke to Jude Bellingham about life in Madrid.

Ramos joined Birmingham on loan from Real Madrid during the 2019/20 season as Bellingham enjoyed his breakout campaign.

The Spanish goalkeeper failed to make an appearance in the English Championship, but did strike up a friendship with the England midfielder, who played 44 times that campaign before moving to Borussia Dortmund the following summer.

Bellingham looks set to be on the move again, with Los Blancos a touted destination – one that Ramos claims he was interested in whilst still at St Andrew’s.

He told Spanish outlet Relevo: “He asked me what it was like to come from Madrid. What life was like there, the people, the club… I told him all the experiences I had gone through.”

TIF Thoughts on Ramos’ comments…

We believe the 19-year-old will become the most sought-after talent in world football in the summer when he looks set to move on from the Bundesliga.

Real Madrid are one of the names reported to be leading the way for his signature, as they tend to be when the best become available, with the Englishman previously claiming his next step won’t be who can offer the biggest purse.

Instead, he said: “I want to win way more, and I want to continue to push the boundaries of my own potential and talent.” This is something he proved when he turned down a previously more lucrative deal at Manchester United to move to Germany.

The midfielder is already pushing the boundaries of his talent, with FBref ranking him in the top 3% for touches in the attacking penalty area, top 6% for goals and top 23% for interceptions amongst midfielders over the past year, proving that although attacking is his strongest suit, he still possesses an incredible all-round package needed to succeed in Madrid.
