Everton are now expected to see Moise Kean leave permanently with Juventus looking to sign the Italian striker.

This is according to the reliable transfer guru Fabrizio Romano who has been speaking about the 22-year-old’s future on his latest Here We Go podcast.

The Italian striker is currently playing his football in Turin having joined Juventus on a two-year loan deal after struggling with the Toffees in the Premier League.

Do you remember who Alex Iwobi was signed from?

In his 39 appearances for Everton, Kean only managed to find the back of the net four times in all competitions with just two of them coming in his 32 league appearances (via Transfermarkt).

And it is believed the Serie A side have the obligation to make the loan deal a permanent one which Romano believes will be confirmed soon by Juventus:

(14:30) “For Moise Kean, the situation is pretty clear, Juventus will buy him on a permanent deal from Everton. It’s just a matter of time and everything will be completed in 2023. So for Everton, it’s also important news as they will make money with Moise Kean.”

TIF Thoughts on Romano’s comments…

This will provide Everton with a believed £24m cash injection ahead of the summer transfer window at a time when Frank Lampard could do with a striker desperately.

Should Kean have been given another chance at Everton?

Despite his poor form in the Premier League, Kean has shown some improved form on his various loan moves with 19 in 81 appearances for Juventus and 17 in 41 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain.

And as Everton’s issues up top continue, you do have to wonder whether Kean could have come in useful for Lampard as his side continues to struggle for goals in the Premier League.
