Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte will be delighted to see Harry Kane walk off the pitch in Monday’s win for England.
This is after the England captain went down holding his ankle after a clumsy tackle from an Iran player which saw him in need of some treatment from the team’s physio.
Kane was able to return to action but was substituted off by Gareth Southgate later on in the game to be replaced by Callum Wilson.
The England captain put in another impressive display for the Three Lions as he provided two assists during his 76 minute outing in Qatar.
And having begun the Premier League campaign in stunning form for the Lilywhites, Conte will be pleased Kane avoided a serious injury from this tackle which was highlighted on Twitter.

It will certainly come to the delight of all involved at England and Spurs that Kane was able to continue playing after this challenge given his injury history with ankle issues and he has insisted that he’s fine.

Over his career, Kane has been hit by severe ankle issues which have kept him out of action for long periods of time and this challenge could well have ended in a similar fashion.
He was able to continue and even grabbed another assist so it appears he may have escaped injury-free which will come as welcome news to the on-watching Spurs manager.
