Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte is not looking at a possible return to his former club Juventus despite some reports.
This has been suggested by the journalist George Sessions who has been speaking on Chris Cowlin’s YouTube channel amid the World Cup break.
Reports earlier this season claimed the Spurs manager had been identified by the Serie A side as a potential replacement for Massimiliano Allegri if they were to sack him.
Conte now has just a matter of months remaining on his contract which is set to expire at the end of the 2022/23 campaign and is yet to put pen to paper on an extension.
But Sessions has insisted there is no interest from Conte in leaving N17 to make a return to his former side despite the uncertainty around his position at Tottenham:
(14:30) “All the noises that you get from Conte and from around the club and people outside the club as well. You know even talking to people that are in Italy and we’re always seeing this link with Juventus, I think that’s absolute rubbish. Absolute rubbish. I don’t think Conte would want to go back to Juventus.”

We think Conte should be encouraged by what he has seen in his first 12 months in charge of the Lilywhites both on the pitch and off it.

Spurs spent in the region of £150m in the summer and are through to the last 16 of the Champions League, however, it still feels as if there is work to be done in the transfer windows.
It is believed Conte is eyeing up new additions in January and we feel as if this upcoming window will show a lot towards whether he will be in north London for next season.
Daniel Levy has shown no signs of not backing Conte in January, but providing Conte with an underwhelming transfer window at a time where his contract situation is up in the air feels like a dangerous move.
