Inter: Club are willing to let go of Robin Gosens

Inter are willing to let go of wing-back Robin Gosens.

That’s according to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Football Italia). In addition, the Serie A side are also willing to sell Roberto Gagliardini in order to bring in Jesus Vazquez and Carlos Alcaraz, with Gosens having many admirers – namely, Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen.

Gosens has played 11 times for Inter in Serie A and made six appearances in the Champions League, with a goal to his name in each competition.

The 2022/23 campaign is where the German has made his most appearances for the Nerazzurri. However, it doesn’t seem like manager Simone Inzaghi has him in his plans.

TIF Thoughts on Inter’s sale of Gosens…

We believe that Gosens will have no issues finding a new club should Inter want to sell him, as he’s played a variety of positions throughout his career.

Therefore, with the versatility at his disposal, a number of clubs could likely be interested in him.

Gosens, who has been hailed as a ‘weapon’, joined in January from fellow Serie A side Atalanta. Yet, it seems within starting his first full season with the club, Inter already want rid of him. It’s not been the outcome he would’ve hoped for since heading to the San Siro, but it could well be a reality.
