Rangers Review writer Derek Clark believes Kemar Roofe is “finished” at Ibrox.
The 29-year-old made his first appearance of the season midway through October with a 17-minute cameo against Dundee in the Scottish League Cup.
However, following a nine-minute outing in the subsequent league game against Livingston, the Jamaican has since suffered another setback.
It comes after an injury-ravaged campaign last season that saw the centre-forward manage just 17 starts in all competitions.
Speaking on the Rangers Review YouTube channel, Clark has now voiced his frustration, before agreeing with a viewer that his time at Ibrox is almost up.
Clark said: “He came on, obviously hit a penalty in that Europa League final and we didn’t see him again, really.
“Came back had a bit of a cameo against Dundee and then that was him out again.
“So we’re not going to see him again. Van Bronckhorst said a couple of weeks. We’re talking he’ll come back after the World Cup break.
“Will we see him again in a Rangers jersey? I’ve no idea.
“I’d sort of go along with Ally Quinn here who says Roofe is finished.”

Roofe has certainly shown what he can do in Light Blues jersey.
He was involved in 18 goals in just over 1,800 minutes of action last season, scoring 16 times – 10 of which came in the Scottish Premiership.
However, his injury history was always going to be a problem and those concerns from when he would have arrived have only been exacerbated during his time in Glasgow.
He has missed 56 games since his switch from Anderlecht and we would be inclined to agree with Clark his days in Glasgow are numbered.
Although Roofe has delivered at times, he just isn’t dependable, and we feel it’s time for the club to find a buyer – which may be easier said than done given their reasons to sell.
