West Ham Fan TV’s Dan Lawless has ripped into David Moyes on Twitter for his comments about the club’sĀ fans.

The Hammers fell to their eighth loss of the season and now find themselves just two points above the bottom three with only one league game left before the World Cup break comes around.

However, it isn’t just what has happened on the pitch that has seemingly left some West Ham fans angered and confused, but what Moyes had to say post-match after many were left wondering why Said Benrahma was subbed off in the second half.

Moyes commented that there were ‘a lot of experts out there’ in relation to people questioning his substitutions.

In response, Lawless wrote on Twitter: “Rice accepting responsibility for a bad performance and acknowledging the fans were right to boo the performance.

“Moyes accepting no responsibility and having a dig at fans for booing his decision.

“The man is too arrogant for someone who has never won a trophy.”

Is Moyes close to being sacked?

TIF Thoughts on Moyes…

It’s not a great look for Moyes – who appears to now be under pressure given how poor West Ham have started this season – to be digging out fans and making sarcastic comments straight after another Premier League defeat.

The fact that, once again, Moyes seemingly refused to even consider playing both Gianluca Scamacca and Michail Antonio at the same time, and instead opted to play with a lone striker for the entirety of their eventual defeat.

West Ham United fans, who were these players sold to? Starting with Felipe Anderson

If Moyes wishes for fans to stop questioning his substitutions and decision-making, he needs to turn around results very quickly. Otherwise, everything he does will be scrutinised on a larger scale than normal.
